Well put together explanation. I too have similar experiences using and also cultivating cannabis. The research is still developing everyday. I do believe it has something to offer to everyone. Will continue to experiment and learn more about such a marvelous plant.
I WISH the terpenes ect weren't breed out of our great stains in the 70-80's!!! We lost way too much of the taste & smells because of the neighborhood grow smells so they didn't get busted! That's when indoor started to take off.
Cbg is the precursor molecule to all other cannabinoieds doc, also its not solely sativa or inda that makes you sleepy..oh but you learned that in class didn't you, so if its on paper it must be right… just like how the industry is flooding with chemicals bho/isopropyl. That's the best way cause it's chemistry.. I laugh.
It's the combined essence of all cannabinoieds particularly cbd cbn that gives you a sedative feeling when combined with x amount of thc/thc(a)/ D9.
Cannabinoieds also stimulate serotonin production. Hence you can have a sedative sativa.
The things you egg heads can learn from not being buried in a book would amaze you.
When you can make 99, temple hash, diamonds organically then you can call yourself a cannabis expert. Tell then. keep dreaming big boy…
seems you have paper knowledge. Have you ever grown, harvested, cured, refined cannabis in any shape or form besides a grinder making keif for you?
You think you know about cannabis? Go meet swami, Kevin jordy, Marcus Richardson…me.
I would bet: we all could wow eachouther.
You however, unless you have actual cannabis experience you WILL NOT teach a connoisseur much. Only that they didn't go to school and they can do things you probably can't. For an example: can you graft cannabis to a fruit tree? I can. Do you know what micron or lpi you need to make 99? Or any other tools you need to make 99? What temperature do you use to make temple hash?
No cannabis craftsman will take you seriously. Especially when you forget what is the precursor molecule for all other cannabinoieds. CBG.
Also: you look like you could use some hashish. Just looking at you makes me think there is something ready to pop inside you… unwind my friend.
Raphael Mechoulam is often referred to as the "father of cannabis research" because of his pioneering work in the field. In 1963, he successfully isolated and elucidated the chemical structure of cannabidiol (CBD), one of the primary non-psychoactive compounds found in the cannabis plant. A year later, in 1964, he and his research team were the first to isolate and synthesize delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the main psychoactive compound responsible for the "high" associated with marijuana consumption. He has the answers to all your questions https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XUVUS79qbR0
The original blueberry strain originated in Humboldt County. The hippies would make crude planters and climb up and nail then to the Redwoods up in the foliage. The Redwood leaves would fall into the planters and decompose which gave the bud a blueberry taste. That was the first encounter smokers had with terpenes and mercenes. Some give a piney taste, some a citrus taste. And the THC glands change chemical composition twice daily from terpenes during photosynthesis and go to mercenes in darkness. Amazing shit
This terrpine bs is just stupid we call it aroma kids and often the strains aroma and taste totally contradict what the terpine is weed today is a.joke everybody on earth.knows weed was better in the 90s before they overcrossed everything
Very informative, thanks, I hope the "canna420highbudz" movement stop bulsshit and put the effort to work on the science, the real science, not the bro science.
Thank you Dr. Jake Felice. In Ecuador, we are using cannabis for treating pain and iinsomnia. Greetings from Portoviejo city. Keep up the good work and educate us to learn to use this plant from our medical tool kit. Greetings from Ecuador
Loved the course. I took it and a few others online, and your course was far superior. The depth this course goes into is unmatched. Dr. Jake is my role model to a T.
Omg this is the most boring video I’ve ever watched. I understand that it’s a doctor and he’s talking about stuff but it’s very dry and bland type of video and everybody’s entitled to their own opinion before someone runs their mouth as always keyboard warriors go for it.
huh. as i am watching this in 2021, it's been 2.5 years since this was posted. any updates on the change in cannabis nomenclature mentioned at 11:12? i've heard of this before, but everyone seems to still refer to sativas, indicas and ruderalis.
Would the hight of the plant impact on its terpene producción, as to say higher plants produce citrus scented terpenes va low plants with a high pine scented terpenes.?

He said terpenes go up when the plant is deprived of nitrogen.
Did he just justify flushing?

A pharmacist told me that NY medical marijuana doesn't have all the canabanoids and terpenes that California marijuana does. Is that even possible?
