BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) – The Bowling Green-Warren County Drug Task Force and Kentucky State Police (KSP) led an investigation into a Bowling Green man after observing him removing marijuana and pill bottles from his residence on Tuesday, February 20.
Authorities approached the man, who smelled of marijuana, and found the drugs being loaded into the suspect’s vehicle.
Kaizon Tyrone McKay, 27, of Bowling Green, was arrested and charged with trafficking marijuana over five pounds (Class C felony) and trafficking in a controlled substance (promethazine with codeine and hydrocodone).
The Bowling Green-Warren County Drug Task Force and KSP seized 13 pounds of marijuana, four bottles of liquid hydrocodone and promethazine with codeine, 70 packets of THC gummies, 26 marijuana cookies, 14 jars of marijuana wax, 16 jars of marijuana rocks, a money counter and $485 in cash.
McKay was taken to the Warren County Regional Jail. He is pending arraignment in the Warren County District Court.
