  1. I’m researching the use of hempcrete to plug abandoned oil wells. A lot of funds are being released to deal with the wells and hemp could likely offer a regenerative approach.

  2. Grandfather grew hemp in Michigan for the war efforts in WW1 and WW2 and even to this day there is hemp that comes up even with all the chemicals that have been put on. I wonder if it will still come up in the lawns with all the houses being built on the land.

  3. Hey Big Tony Might give you a call soon we are heading south from Glasgow this month will try and reach out to you or your wife going or coming back to chat> Have a great Christmas All of you and the girls. LOL

  4. This is great to see, we have built a prototype building with hemp to learn the process and test its performance, the material had to be sourced from France. It would be delightful if our planned home can be constructed with materials grown and processed in the US.

  5. Any farmer who hasn't embarked on the Regenerative Agriculture journey will 'do it tough'. Agbusiness wants every hard-earned dollar and give you dreams and promises in return, that's it. So stop writing cheques (checks, USA) and start keeping it on the farm.

  6. Most exciting video I’ve seen in, possibly, my entire life! My activist friends and I have been working to make this a reality for decades. Jack Herrer would have been overjoyed had he lived to see his dream come to fruition. Thank you so much for all the work you amazing people are accomplishing.

  7. A friend of mine is thinking of building an underground house and using hempcrete as a structural material.

My impression from other videos is that Hempcrete is not suitable for use in wet or damp conditions:

as the lime based elements break down when wet,

and the hemp fibres are subject to rotting if wet.

    Is that correct?

  11. Compost worms create castings which is a phenomenal fertilizer. Hemp and other crops would benefit from castings plus drive down costs to watering so many plants. Growing plants becomes easier too so more people can farm if they want to and worms will feed chickens or fish. Hemp seed can be fed to chickens and the omegas may/will transfer to the eggs. Amazing work, great video

  12. Why did you not show it running? Also is hemp just going to be another mono culture crop? Or will we see cover crops being used & live stock like we see in Regenerative Agriculture such as Gabe Brown practices.
