SHELDON—A 21-year-old Worthington, MN, man was arrested about 4:45 p.m. Monday, Feb. 26, near Sheldon on a charge of first-offense possession of a controlled substance — marijuana.
The arrest of Logan Taylor Williams stemmed from the stop of a 2009 Mitsubishi Galant for speeding on Northwest Boulevard near 300th Street about two miles north of Sheldon, according to the O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office.
The strong odor of marijuana was detected.
When asked if there was any marijuana in the vehicle, Williams admitted he had some and handed it over to the deputy, according to the incident report.
